All the way up to the North Cape… and then back south to go to Russia… in the freezing cold on our dirt bikes!
When we planned this trip (as a part of our 3 months tour) we never ever thought we would be this cold! It was freezing a big part of the trip, we thought do to it in the summer so the weather would be ok… turned out that it was the worst summer Scandinavia had in he last 87 years, just as we went there on the bikes, with no winter clothing or even decent gloves!
We went all the way up through Norway which is a beautifull but horribly expensive country then a small part through Sweden to go all the way down again through Finland as I had some problems with my chain and the sprockets. They did not survive this trip and needed to get replaced as quickly as possible which we finally could do in Helsinki before going to Russia…
