From Russia with love… our first visit to the world’s biggest country will not soon be forgotten!
Aaaaah… Russia!
Since long that I wanted to see the former “enemy of the West” for myself. Russia is a special kind of country, especially if you venture away from Moscow or Sint-Petersburg. But I enjoyed it a lot, just act normal, don’t think you can do the same stupid things as in the EU and you’ll be fine! Although it is sometimes difficult to get something done if you don’t speak Russian…
Maybe a memorable moment was when we got chased away from the Red Square in Moscow, as it was not allowed to go there with the bikes for pictures… but you know me better than that, so we fixed it quickly when the military were busy for a minute with something else until we got spoken to by an officer of the secret police…
